AIDS Australia receives funding from the following sources:

  • Partnerships with national and local businesses.
  • Partnerships with international HIV/AIDS organisations.
  • Fundraising events.
  • Receiving bequests.
  • Grants.

    • Attend and support PORTRAIDS&reg exhibitions - check the Exhibitions page for dates and times of launch parties.

    Fundraising

    If you would like to fundraise for AIDS Australia, here are a few ideas:

    • Host a PORTRAIDS® exhibition at your shop.
    • Include AIDS Australia on your wedding or birthday Gift Registry.
    • Create a fundraising page with Everyday Hero.
    • Donate or create a fundraising event with MyCause.
    • Raise funds through Special Event Participation such as the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon.
    • Be a Challenger by setting yourself personal targets.
    • Organise a workplace fundraising drive; ask your employer to match employee donations.
    • Purchase the e-book 'Inspired' by Alex Larumbe. (Coming soon)
    • Purchase official AIDS Australia Merchandise.

    Volunteers

    Volunteers are the driving force behind AIDS Australia. Through direct involvement in our educational and awareness campaigns, volunteers significantly contribute to the fulfilment of our mission and goals. We are always interested to hear from positive, committed and selfless people willing to make an impact in the world. We welcome help with:

    • Mail-out campaigns
    • Online information gathering and website updates
    • IT support
    • Administrative support
    • Event coordination
    • Fundraising
    • Other activities as required from time to time

    If you possess good interpersonal and communications skills, are organised and want to be part of AIDS Australia's volunteer community, there are two ways to get started:
